Many people ask me why I became a Civil Marriage Celebrant so early in my working career? My answer is easy… I have over 15 years experience as a Wedding Coordinator/Executive Event Manager, whilst living & working both interstate and overseas for nearly 10 years.
Whether it be meeting and working with the Bride & Groom to arrange their wedding reception from start to finish or co-ordinating the logistics of a Bridal Fair, weddings have been my world. Suffice to say my own wedding day was the one day of my life where my husband and I did exactly what we wanted and it was on this unforgettable day that I personally realized dreams can definitely become a reality. Based on this combination of my professional work and on my own amazing wedding day experience, I pursued a new commitment and passion as a Civil Marriage Celebrant.
I am appointed on behalf of the Attorney General to legally assist other couples wedding dreams come true!
I have been a Civil Marriage Celebrant for the past 8 years with a formal qualification in public speaking and Certificate IV in Celebrancy qualification.
I now believe there are very few jobs where every day is a happy day and I consider myself extremely lucky and privileged, as life as a Civil Marriage Celebrant definitely puts a daily smile on my face.
Some say after marriage comes children. Fortunately for me this is true. Now a mum to a 6 year old daughter & 4 year old son, ooops and of course our Beagle x Jack Russell dog, Scooby,all of whom still allow me to keep on doing the job I love with even more enthusiasm …… |
